Meagan Spomer

Meagan has been practicing domestic relations law for over 10 years and is now one of two managing attorneys for Nebraska Legal Group. Meagan’s guiding principle is to leave each place, each person, and each case better than when she found it. Meagan enjoys positive relationships with the family law bar in Omaha and a reputation as an empathetic, but effective, pragmatist. This approach helps her reach the most advantageous and sensible agreements on behalf of her clients. If you ask her, she will tell you that “while loving this very challenging job makes me a bit of a crazy person, I wake up every day knowing I get to help real people and their families through a very painful time – hopefully making it a little less so, and that makes all the difficulty
worth it.”

Meagan is a member of the House of Delegates for the Nebraska Bar, a member of the Judicial Resources Commission, a member of the Committee on Inquiry for Attorney Ethics, and a repeat CLE presenter on topics ranging from discovery and legislative issues to settlement facilitation.
